A rich all over body balm made of local pasture raised tallow, chaparral (creosote), desert lavender, cleaveland sage, sonoran jojoba oil & local raw beeswax
This is a deeply replenishing, reparative, and protective balm entirely made of ingredients from the Sonoran Desert – the aroma alone will teleport you straight into the heart of these majestic lands, while the soft creamy consistency glides on and absorbs like a second skin
We highly recommend pairing your tallow balm with a hydrosol, as adding a water component creates an emulsification with the oils and changes the game in terms of locking in hydration
Tallow penetrates deeply and effectively because of the similarity between our skin's natural sebum and tallows essential fatty acid profile. It is a rich emollient moisturizer that makes it ideal for dry, cracked, or sensitive skin, preventing moisture loss and promoting healing
Chaparral (larrea tridentata) is beneficial for skin due to its powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties, which help protect against free radical damage, soothe irritation, and support healing of various skin conditions
Cleveland sage (salvia clevelandii) benefits the skin with its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties which help to soothe irritation, cleanse impurities, balance oil production, promote circulation, protect against environmental damage, and enhance tone and texture
Desert Lavender (hyptis emoryi) helps soothe irritation, reduces redness, and protects against environmental stressors. It can help support clearer skin, while it's natural antioxidants combat oxidative damage by reducing premature aging. It's unique properties make it especially beneficial for sensitive skin types or those prone to breakouts
Sonoran Jojoba oil (simmondsia chinensis) is beneficial for the skin because it closely mimics the skin’s natural sebum, helping to balance moisture, soothe irritation, and provide a non-comedogenic, lightweight layer of hydration
Raw beeswax is excellent for the skin because it creates a protective barrier that locks in moisture while allowing skin to breathe, and it contains natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe and heal.

Whenever I am dealing with dry skin this is my go to! I also really love the smell of creosote aka la gobernadora, brings me so much joy and nostalgia of my childhood. It's my favorite smell in a small jar. I could never get enough of this.
After using this balm, its nourished my skin like no other moisturizer has. My older son uses it for eczema flair ups and ive used it on my 4 month old since he was a new born. Our skin loves this balm. Im so thankful for it. Love the lavender scent thats been added!

I look forward to my nightly skincare routine, and I'm always sure to re-order my favorites before I run out. I struggle with hormonal acne and this never irritates my skin or causes breakouts. Truly a favorite that I can't recommend enough!
